Hi. I'm Ren, the reigning Miss Mobo in the province of Masbate. I'm turning 21 this coming April 10 and I want to initiate this goods giving to the families of tricycle drivers in our community who are struggling at this time of crisis. Most of them greatly depend on the penny they earn daily to put food on their table. Their daily earning is amounting from 400 PHP(9$) to 600PHP (12$). However, due to Covid19 Pandemic, the number of commuters have lessen which brought no income for them. Also, they had to stop working to avoid the risk of getting infected which made them dependent on the relief goods given by the government and others. Apparently, the goods given are not enough because most of the families have 5-8 members or more, those extended ones. And it hurts me knowing that they, especially their children, might go to bed enduring hunger. This campaign means so much to me because our tricycle drivers are our heroes; going to school, to work, to any destination, we won't make it everyday without them. My father was once a tricy driver too. With this, in return to their hardwork and good service, I am asking from your generous heart to help me in this mission. Any amount will do. Our plan is to purchase groceries and hygiene kits for the chosen 80 families of tricycle drivers in our municipality. This birthday fundraise also aims others to know that humanity shall prevail in times like this and may this little action inspire others to do the same. While we live, let us all be grateful and make a ripple to touch others' lives as well. We know how it feels, to be hungry and hopeless. It is our time to give back and be a blessing to others.❤️
